I hiked the Valley View trail again this morning. It was a glorious Fall day, and I took this photo on the road directly across from the trailhead. So pretty!---Mango

Very pretty indeed! We have been having a mixture of rain and sun. I have to say, though, that the fall colors/leaves are glorious up here right now. I feel like I'm in Vermont! Hiking sounds like fun; glad the weather cooperated.
Yes, it's fun, it's also my therapy! We did have 2.5 inches of rain, which settled the dust and watered the garden. Today was the first really nice day since then. Yay Fall!

i just returned from chicago myself, where it was definitely fall... now that i've returned to CA the cold/rainy snap seems to have warn off, and we're back to temperatures in the 70s... *much* more my speed ;)
